Aveo started designing and making military vehicle lights after two major defense giants, BAE Systems and General Dynamics, requested custom solutions. For BAE Systems, Aveo designed and built the covert dual mode lights for the FNSS 8x8x8 vehicle. For the General Dynamics Stryker vehicle, we produced 400 covert headlights of Aveo design.

After 10 years, we have returned to military vehicles in our partnership with other OEM vehicle companies with completely new lighting products. They are being shown to the public for the first time at the EuroSatory 2026 show in Paris starting June 15th. These include our Iguana roof pods and retrofit lights for such vehicles as the Toyota Hilux as well as many armored vehicles. The Iguana houses all of Aveo’s unique lighting systems and sensors (cameras, micro radars, and LIDARs).

Aveo does not charge NRE for the design and development of such solutions.

Here is an example of our Iguana Pod for Toyota trucks commonly used by military operators. It features all the amazing lighting from the helicopter Phoenix pods and also includes the various cameras and even interceptor launchers. Send us a note as we can do your vehicle too!!
